Today’s a milestone day for Livescribe as they introduce the next evolution of their digital writing platform – the Sky WiFi smartpen.
Having had a chance to beta test the Sky smartpen for a few months now I’m really excited about this launch and the future for the smartpen product.
This video will give you a quick insight into the new smartpen
What’s New in Sky WiFi Smartpen?
Livescribe is embracing our changing world in a way that few companies could possibly consider – the platform is going digital – WiFi technology, cloud services, and operating system independence (iOS, Android, Windows) in ways that will (I’m sure) impress you.
From Paper Directly to Your Digital World
Chances are you have or use a smartphone or tablet, or one of the prolific cloud services such as DropBox, Evernote, or Google Drive. If that’s the case then you’ll find the latest product compelling!
Actually, it even better…
What if I told you we are about to introduce functionality that will allow you to write on a page and annotate to a document stored on a tablet – real time? What if you could be in a class/training environment and be able to – real-time – watch students using a smartpen to write answers on custom pages of dot paper?
Over the next few days I’ll be publishing more posts introducing the key changes to the platform. Here are a couple of key posts that I’ve published today
- Sky Wifi Compatibility Guide – This post will explain what’s compatible with the new Sky WiFi smartpen – if you have an existing Pulse or Echo smartpen please read this.
- The Updated Livescribe Product Range – this post will explain what the new models are and what will be available in the future
You’ll also find some updated FAQ content on our site here.
As always, please feel free to email me, call me, or discreetly engage with me in the social-sphere and I’ll answer any questions you might have.
Cheers Mark (aka Mr Smartpen)
