Two weeks ago the Livescribe Echo Smartpen was launched globally. The response from our customers here in Australia has been extremely enthusiastic. The new Echo 8GB Smartpen in particular has been very popular.
Feedback from users has been very positive with most comments focused on the new look and feel. The new tapered underside is certainly appreciated by those users who’ve experienced the Pulse Smartpen rolling away from them.
The introduction of the new Echo Smartpen range has been followed by by an upgrade to Livescribe Desktop. We’ll be blogging later today about some of the new features – particularly the new ‘Share’ function

I Bought a livescribe pulse2GB in January this year.
I found it a very useful tool to use in my practice. Unfortunately my pen will no longer recharge and is now unusable. I had lost my receipt for the pen which I bought at Office works and have been unable to find somewhere to service the pen.
Can you help?
Hi Chris,
I’ll send you a note re the warranty process
Mark
I purchased my pule pen a few years ago. Like Christopher above my pen no longer transfers information to my livescribe desktop. The led is so faint you cannot read it so not sure if it is on or off. I have been asking livescribe in the US can it be serviced. They tell me there is no service provision in Australia.
Hi Anita
I’ll contact you early next week so we can discuss this further. It might be terminal but lets see whether we can do anything to fix it
