New Livescribe Pulse Smartpen Model Announced
Great news through today from the Livescribe team with the announcement of a new model – the Livescribe 4GB Pulse Smartpen.
This latest model will record up to 400 hours of audio.
We don’t have any details as to availability here in Australia or pricing. Once we do we’ll let everyone know.
In addition to this, Smartpen will be introducing a number of new product bundles aimed at business and academic/student users. These new bundles will include the current Livescribe Pulse Smartpen plus the most popular accessories based on the sales data that we’ve collected over the past 15 months of sales.

    Has anyone come across a situation where you can connect the Smartpen headset into a conference call phone headset so as to capture the conference call discussion through the Smartpen headset? This will be good for those situations where a conference call can be recorded without having to use the speakerphone.

      Good point, but in doing this you’d need to be very careful with disclosure as (for example) here in Australia recording telephone calls requires very clear disclosure.

      But good suggestion none the less.

    I don’t think you’re going to be able to do it since there is no input for it. That seems like the real shortfall of this pen. We’re not using these to impeach people, just to take better notes.
