Thanks for your comment.

We've had tremendous demand from the education sector here in Australia and New Zealand. Some of the feedback and suggestions have been quite amazing. Stay tuned for our piece on social learning using David Wilkins's XYZ Axis of community modelling. This is based on some conversations I had with Dr Wood from Uni of South Australia where we discussed quite a few ideas around where the next generation of LMS's need to be so as to have technology like Livescribe and wiki's like Confluence working seamlessly with teachers and students. I see Livescribe playing an important role in how we become collaborative learners.

Your point about helping teachers just moving into working digitally is quite interesting. One point of feedback we've had from teachers is how natural it feels to use a pen when in fact they're using a computer.

cheers Mark

Hi there Mark, I'm very excited to see Smartpen considering the education uses! I think they're huge. One of my jobs is to work with teachers just moving into working digitally - and I can't think of a better way for them to do so than use something familiar like a pen and notepad! Will be in touch.
