How we ship ink refills

We received some feedback from one of our customers about how we ship the ink refills – this particular order was damaged in transit. As a result of this feedback, we’ve decided to change how we ship the refills.

The ink refills are supplied in a nice point of sale box which includes instructions on the back for changing the ink cartridge. The box is quite bulky and fragile – it means we’re shipping a lot of air. To date, where customers are placing orders for refills or the pen and refills, it’s meant we’ve had to adjust our packaging to accommodate the ink refill box.

In order to keep our costs as low as possible, we’ve made the decision to remove the ink refills from the point of sale box and cut off the back of the box (which has the instructions). This allows us to either ship the refills in an envelope (which we do free of charge) or we slip them into the pen box which means the pen can be shipped in a standard satchel.

If you order the refills only – they will be shipped in a DL envelope via standard post – no delivery fee

If you order a 2GB pen and refills – the refills will be slipped into the pen box. To do this, we must break two of the product seals (please be aware of this).
