When you convert the Livescribe content into MyScript you have the option to save this content to Word, Text (i.e. .txt), or PDF.

Would it then be possible to convert/put the text into an excel document with the same formatting that was used when the text was written?

I don’t think anyone has done any definitive reviews – but if your school sends me a purchase order we’ll bundle the MAC version of MyScript for Livescribe for free – and if you then write a review we’ll promote it on Twitter, here on the blog, and on Facebook…

My opinion, having used it on PC is that it’s a pretty good product. It’s not perfect, but then again, neither is human hand writing. Comments we’ve had from users in the field is that they are very happy with it and the users tend to adapt their writing slightly as they learn what MyScript doesn’t recognise.
