Livescribe – Here’s an important tip

The battery life on the Livescribe Smartpen is really good. By my estimates, it’ll capture close to if not more than 15 hours of writing/recording before needing a charge. The user guide suggests 15 hours of use non-audio recording – but I’ve exceeded that. This may be due to the freshness of the battery.

Livescribe make it really easy to understand how much charge is left in the pen by providing an icon inside the front cover of each notebook/journal. Tap the icon and the Pen display shows you battery remaining. It’s that easy.

Don’t do what I did which was use the pen almost non stop for 3 days and then wonder why it’s flat…
